We are looking for a highly successful and proven Crewing Officer / Coordinator.

Based in Aberdeen, UK you will be comfortable travelling to different sites across the region.  APPLY NOW. We have multiple roles available across several organisations.

The Role

As the Crewing Officer, you will be responsible for managing the crew across the fleet of vessels, ensuring that they are all fully crewed and have the appropriate skills and qualifications and are met in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

About You

You will be liaising with vessel manager to ensure adequate crews are planned to operate vessels. As a detail orientated person you will be maintaining accurate crewing records and ensuring all documentation is up to date. As an excellent communicator you will work with recruitment agencies and third parties for vacant positions. You will be confident in coordinating and running interviews and assessments. Happy to develop and implement crew training programs you will ensure all crews are competent and up to date with the latest regulations and best practices, and to deal with any disputes or grievances that may arise across the crew. You will also require:

• At least 3 years of experience in crewing or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry best practices
• Familiarity with crew management software and systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English (Dutch is an advantage)
